According to label CEO T. Black, UK Veteran and Xist Music recording artist, Jahaziel will release his long-awaited sophomore album on October 29, 2013.

In an interview with Wade-O Radio, Black said the project will be titled Heads Up and will include Jahaziel’s recently released single “They Don’t Know” which features Jahaziel’s uncle, the legendary Maxi Priest.  According to Black, Heads Up will also feature Sean Simmonds, D-Maub, S.O. and Dwayne Tryumf.  A recent Jahaziel tweet suggests that Guvna B will also be featured on Heads Up as well.

Jahaziel’s New album is due out October 29, 2013

In the interview, T. Black expressed his excitement and expectations for the record.  “When you say Heads Up, Jahaziel, just say crazy!”, Black explained.  “Oh my goodness, I can’t wait.  It’s winning.”

Heads Up will be Jahaziel’s first album since 2007’s Ready to Live and his first project since 2011’s Still Livin‘ Mixtape.  The success of Ready to Live catapulted Jahaziel to being the first Gospel Rapper to win a coveted MOBO (Music of Black Origin) award in 2008.  The MOBO’s are the UK’s equivalent to the BET Awards.

In addition to announcing Jahaziel’s project, Black also addressed the departures of Da’ T.R.U.T.H. and The Ambassador from Xist Music in addition to the recently announced partnership with Malaco Records.  Black also discussed how Xist discovered its recent signees, Adia and Milton Young as well as the future of record labels going forward.
