Wade-O Radio Producer Named McDonald’s Gospelfest 2017 Finalist
Recently, WLIB-1190 AM, an urban contemporary gospel Radio Station in NYC announced the finalists for McDonald’s Gospelfest 2017. Wade-O Radio Producer, Daniel “D.Royul” Cody was announced as a finalist in the rap category for the event.. Several emerging artists will be sharing the stage with gospel legends, as they compete in different categories.
When asked about auditioning for the event, D.Royul stepped out on faith and auditioned at a McDonald’s in Paterson, New Jersey. “I’m going leave it all out there, Lord. Let your will be done,” he said. “And I had a great time there.”
D.Royul released his sophomore album Under the Terebinth Tree in 2015 and is set to release his third album, Duality of Worship April 14.
Gospelfest is slated to be a huge event, as it returns to Newark’s Prudential Center Saturday, May 13 at 4 p.m. with some of gospel musics biggest names. This year’s event features Donnie McClurkin, Erica Campbell, Hezekiah Walker, Israel Houghton, Bishop Paul Morton, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy and Greater Allen AME Cathedral.
The McDonald’s Gospelfest is produced and directed by A. Curtis Farrow and will be held in Newwark, NJ on May 13. Doors open at 3:00pm and the event begins at 4:00pm. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
