Ty Brasel signs record deal with IVAV, Hip-hop Division of Curb Records
Late Wednesday evening, Tennessee-based artist Ty Brasel announced on his social media accounts that he has signed his first record deal with IVAV (4 Against 5), the hip-hop division of Curb Records/ Word Entertainment. Rapper Steven Malcolm is also signed to the label.
“I partnered with them out of a desire to bring you the best music and content possible & I believe they are the ones who can most effectively help me do that. If you know me, you know l do this for the ppl, & I thank everyone who has purchased, streamed, come to shows, bought merch, & supported thoughout the years,” Ty said in a post to Instagram.
Brasel has had a good 2017, as he was featured on several records, released his album Young T in June, went on tour with KB and Trip Lee, and has now signed his first record deal. In 2016, Brasel partnered with Level Change Music, a rap/hip hop management division of First Company Management (FCM), along with Young Noah.
