Spoken Word Video: Joseph Solomon – “The Definition of Body” (Rhetoric 2016)

Joe-Solomon

At Rhetoric 2016, Joseph Solomon performed two spoken word pieces. His second piece “The Definition of Body” “sheds light on the social injustices against black bodies, and challenges the church’s outlook on the social injustices.”

The Youtube video description continues to say, “Joseph reminds us of the suffering of the body of Jesus Christ, and offers hope of rest… in the end.”

In the behind the scenes interview with Solomon, he discusses what motivated the second piece.
