“I Break Stereotypes” is HeeSun Lee’s third official single off her upcoming sophomore album “Stereotypes.” HeeSun will be releasing the official music video the same day as the song. Tuesday, November 12th 2013.
The title of the song says it all in more ways than one. I Break Stereotypes, though a personal statement, is a rally call for people that feel they don’t fit society’s mold. To say “I break stereotypes” means: I declare that I am an individual in this world. I am a person that should be judged by their fruits or the merits of their character, but not by their skin color or any other superficial stereotype.
HeeSun Lee features MC Jin on the track. MC Jin is the first Asian-American rapper to receive a major record deal. HeeSun Lee, being a fan and supporter of MC Jin over the years felt like it was a major honor for her have Jin join her on the track. The track is produced by JahRock’n Productions own Cardec Drums. Cardec is known for his distinct drum patterns and Trap-style beats that keep your head nodding uncontrollably. Be sure to download “I Break Stereotypes” when it comes out Tuesday November 12th 2013.
