In this year’s Tour de France Commercial, a familiar Christian Hip Hop song played in the background and became the Tour’s anthem. The 30 second commercial aired on the NBC Sports Network.
Sho Baraka’s song “Ali,” from his latest project Talented Xth, played as shots of determined cyclists graced the screen during the 100th edition of the Tour. The song “Ali” was produced by Ali.
After Talented Xth dropped in January, producer Alex Medina made a prophetic tweet concerning the record:

He then expressed his excitement when he found out NBC used the song for its commercial:

After Talented Xth was released, it finished off on the Billboard charts by debuting at #1 in the Gospel category, 5th in Christian, and 12th in the Rap category.
The Tour de France is a grand tour and main stage for cyclists around the country, and occurred from June 29th to July 21st. Britain’s Chris Froome was declared this year’s winner of Le Tour de France.
