Lecrae said it best on his Church Clothes 2 song “Believe” when he said, “I own the label. And guess what? Imma sign more.” And sign one more is what Reach Records did on Wednesday.
After five years of not adding anyone new to their roster, Reach announced the signing of Gawvi as an artist to the label. In 2013, Gawvi joined the Reach staff as one of their producers. He now joins Andy Mineo, Lecrae, Trip Lee, KB and Tedashii.
Gawvi, as an artist, is not new to the Christian hip hop scene. Formerly known as G-Styles, Gawvi was featured on tracks with South Florida group Rhema Soul (“My Beat Go,” “Fresh,” “My Whole Life,” and “Girl I Promise (Joke)”).
Gawvi is set to release his debut album under Reach Records this year.
