The “Dig” Instrumental starts at 1:35.
First we had Sho Baraka. Then Tedashii and Lecrae. Now Propaganda and Odd Thomas. For the third time this week, a Christian Hip Hop Artist’s music is featured in a major mainstream media outlet or commercial. Red Bull used the instrumental for “Don’t Listen to Me” off of his latest album Excellence for a recently released youtube promo. Propaganda and Odd Thomas’s song “Dig” off of their Art Ambidextrous collab album was also used in the clip.
The video serves as a promo for Red Bull’s Biggest jump competition and features a narrator describing the challenge that each biker will face who competes in the challenge. On twitter, Prop indicated that this wasn’t the first time Red Bull has featured his music in a commercial.
The instrumental for Propaganda’s song “Excellent” was used in the “Red Bull Perspective” documentary which Red Bull describes as “A cinematic journey through the eyes of skateboarding’s elite .”
Several of Propaganda’s followers expressed excitement about the news. Last week, Reach Records A&R Street Symphony recently tweeted his love for “Dig” as well.
