My First Experience with Christian Hip Hop feat. Ty Brasel

As part of Sketch the Journalist’s “CHH 101” series of posts for about the history of the gospel rap movement, he’ll be sharing video interviews he’s conducted with some of the genre’s top names about their first experience with Christian hip hop.

In 2015 Ty Brasel released his album Cloud 9 Raps. His latest project is titled 1994 Until, and was released in June. Brasel recently singed with Level Change Music earlier this year.

In this outing, Ty Brasel discusses his introduction to Christian hip hop and the artists who influenced his early raps.
