MC Jin Shares Struggles and Breakthroughs In New Hypocrite EP

Hip hop artist MC Jin releases an honest look at faith, career and life.

Press Release Statement:

Rapper and actor MC Jin caps off 2013 with the release of his digital “Hypocrite” EP, which he will release on iTunes and Amazon for fans on Tuesday, December 10.

The EP comes on the heels of the title single and was written by Jin as a reflection of a chapter in his journey. “Hypocrite” is also an expression of Jin’s thankfulness to God for the opportunity to share his story and to walk alongside those who can relate to the same kind of struggles.

“I wanted to explore some topics that I felt would also be challenging to approach and go a bit deeper in comparison to the previous projects from recent years,” says Jin. “I wanted to make sure I tried to be as sincere and transparent as possible in how I deal with each struggle.”

“A lot of the songs are coming from places of personal experience, observations, and really wanting to challenge myself,” he says. “When people listen to Hypocrite, one thing I really hope they take from it is the sincerity in it.”

Jin will return stateside from filming in Asia and is looking forward to his upcoming music project tentatively slated for 2014.

The Great Company shares artisan MC Jin’s mission to walk alongside friends and supporters.
