*Chicago-based Christian hip-hop artist Katalyst is gearing up for the release of a new multi-media endeavor by seeking to raise $9,500 in 30 days with the help of the all-or-nothing fundraising website "Kickstarter.com" http://Kickstarter.com/
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SEPTEMBER 2, 2010
Since the release of "Death By Design", Katalyst has been busy co-forming Legacy Music Records. The record label released Decipha's "REP" in June 2010, and is now gearing up to release his new project.
Inspired by the insight woven into John Bunyan’s famous book, "A Pilgrim’s Progress", this multi-media endeavor includes: a new album, a graphic novel,an interactive website, and a concert series. Each tells a different piece of the overall story of the spiritual and physical battles in the Christian journey.
The innovative approach he is using to fund this project is harnessed by fan support through a website called "kickstarter.com" < http://kickstarter.com/> "What is Kickstarter?"

I have lived in Florida all of my life. That means that it is hot and humid 90% of the time. My favorite season is Winter. I have never experienced snow. I’ve seen it fall, but as soon as it touched the ground, roof, or cars, it melted. I love getting to wear jackets, boots, and sweaters from late December to early March because it is so rare. But late March to mid May we have Spring. I would've chosen Spring as my favorite season, but I have horrible allergies. It’s always interesting how things go from a time where conditions are just right into a period where I am totally miserable. Just as seasons change during the year, our lives change also change.

We all may need to check into REHAB come September 28th, because Lecrae is bringing his fourth album to the table.
Peep this interesting short clip for the album, entitled "Idols," above. Now, I don't know why Lecrae burned the Nike dunks. But my guess is, he's symbolizing it, as him burning idols. Materialistic items can come into play as idolatry.
What's your take on it? We would love to know!

Lets set it straight. Sometimes you have to wonder the motives of some artist. You have many that will krank the JPM (Jesus Per Minute) meter to 100. Then there are the artist who keep that meter low. In the words of Brinson, "If you ain't tryin' win souls put the mic down don't rap no more!". May sound harsh but tune in while Wade-O and Brinson talk about his new song "Don't Rap No More" and why it was recorded! Also Wade-O Talks with Young Joshua about his new move with Crossmovement Records. How does he feel about the move? And with everything that's going on is he there to come to CMR's rescue? That plus new music from Flame and some crazy mixing from DJ Wade-O! Read on to get the playlist!
