In the middle of The Good Fight album release concert in Houston, Texas on April 20, Bizzle dropped two surprise announcements.
- Yonkers, New York native Selah aka The Corner is the latest artist to sign with the God Over Money Records.
- The label will release a God Over Money group album after Bizzle’s The Good Fight drops on May 7. (Earlier in the day GOM rapper BumpsINF posted that the date had been pushed back from the previously announced April 23 spot.)
The GOM family album will presumably be as lyricist-heavy as this evening’s concert and include artists like Bizzle, Laviosier Cornerstone, Willie Moore, Jr., Eshon Burgundy, Sevin, BumpsINF, and Selah. However, no tracklist, roster, or album title was announced at the event.
Sketch the Journalist was on the scene and connected with Selah after the show (and during a GOM video shoot for Laviosier’s “Every Day” song) for a brief interview about the team up.
And as a bonus, Sketch asks Selah to tell him about his first experience with Christian hip hop.
