The Beautiful Grind is a soulful, hip hop driven blend of music featuring some of the most innovative, lyrical artists in music. The albums subject matter covers a wide range of topics, addressing everything from politics|race (“Revolution is Here” feat. Eshon Burgundy, The One Keon and Gemstones), how money changes people (“No Money Down” feat. J. Johnson) and the challenges of making The Beautiful Grind Album, and how their friendship was tested in the process (“We Here”). It’s because of their subject matter that Ghost and Rocdwell believe that they make “Life Music”, and that no labels could more accurately describe what they do than that. Musically, they believe, what better way to honor God than to make music that inspires one to live a better life by following the example of His Son?

Albeit a new artist (emcee) in the genre, Rocdwell, who hails from Detroit  MI. has been making quality hip hop for a number of years, and on TBG he more than matches bars with the likes of some of hip hops best. Roc’s trademark voice which plays like a low growl, with lyrics/songs steeped in introspection and hope are accompanied by Ghost, a soulful producer that resides in Atlanta Ga. (by way of Tampa, FL.).
