Don’t Forget

A great way to remind yourself of what God has promised is to look at your life and how you have seen God move. Deutoronomy 10:21 says “He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes“. No one can debate with you what you have experienced. A few Sundays ago, the preacher said something in the sermon that made me think. “Don’t confuse fact and truth.”

  1. Fact: You don’t have money to pay the bills. Truth: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19
  2. Fact: You are feeling very lonely right now. Truth: The LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deut. 31:6
  3. Fact: You are very discouraged and want to give up. Truth: He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isa. 40:29

Take time to remind yourself of the goodness and promisesof God. Don’t forget what God has done and is able to do. Ephesians 3:20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
