Remembering Nelson Mandela…20 Great Inspirational Quotes

remembering-nelson-mandela

Yesterday, the world lost a great man in Nelson Mandela (July 18, 1918 – December 5, 2013).   Not only was he the first Black President of South Africa, but he is considered by most as the man most responsible for ending the South Africa’s racial segregation known as apartheid.  Mandela began his years in activism in his 20’s and fought for justice and equality the rest of his adult life.

Besides being one of the most respected world leaders, Mr. Mandela was also a devout Christian as he was baptized at age 7.

Below, you will find a tribute to Nelson Mandela from my radio show, as well as 20 Inspirational quotes from the former South African President.  I pray you enjoy them as you remember Mr. Mandela’s life and legacy.
