12 Women Christian Hip-Hop Cannot Live Without – Part 4

Photographer | @Elpideezy

In the music industry, not only is your music important, but so is your image. One of the women that has helped expose CHH artists to the masses is Houston photographer Elpidia Medina. She has been a part of the community for seven years and has attended over 250 CHH concerts since 2006!

She has worked with Frontline artist Corey Paul for 5 years on promo and concert photography, and has shot for the Dream Junkies, Aaron Cole, Derek Minor, and V.Rose. Medina has also worked with clothing line companies like Forgiven Boutique and RHIsen, and was the photographer for Kingdom Promo at a Reach Records event.

In 2015 Medina worked with Jamaica Jacobson on a jewelry line photo shoot and was a photographer leader for Flavor Fest. She has also shot promo for two to three years of the PIA tour for P4CM.

Along with sharing her photography skills with the CHH community, Medina has interned for Jam The Hype, in which she had the opportunity to interview KB, DJ Promote, Chozy’n Boy, Swoope, and Dee-1. She is currently a street team leader for Derek Minor.

After taking a glance at Elpidia’s work, you can see how much she is skilled in bringing images to life. Her work spans across themes of  love, family, culture, and most importantly love of God.
