Florida-based hip-hop artist and songwriter Erica Mason has built a brand with her Pretty N Radical movement, having to “learn that true beauty begins with accepting and embracing your authentic self.” As Mason has embraced her authentic self, it has freed her up to create passionate music and build a growing platform.

Mason has opened for international recording artist Tink and Dee-1, and has shared the stage with Andy Mineo, Derek Minor, KB, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., Canon, Jason Nelson, Jor’Dan Armstrong, Dorina Clark, Social Club Misfits, Swoope, V.Rose, and Angie Rose. Along with sharing the stage with some of the community’s top artists, she has opened for Barack Obama’s Washington Fellows Conference, was a headliner for FlavorFest, has been featured on the African Television Network, and featured in SOUL Mag and in Salty Mag.

In 2016, she released her Pretty N Radical EP, which debuted at number 35 on the iTunes charts. In 2017, Mason was featured as a Rapzilla Freshman ’15, nominated in the ‘Female Rap Minister’ category for the Kingdom Choice Awards, and won the award for ‘Holy Hip Hop Artist’ at the 23rd Annual Gospel Choice Awards.

Mason has an impressive resume that has had her expand her skill-set to hosting and speaking at international conferences and conventions focused on empowerment for girls and young women. In addition to being a rising artist and having stellar music videos, courtesy of prolific video director Will Thomas, Mason has worked with Grammy award winning producers Courtney Orlando, formerly known as J.R., Spec, and Khao.
